About The Position

The assistant director of adult and online enrollment provides direct supervision and leads a team responsible for multiple facets of recruitment, enrollment, and student-focused service for Lindenwood Global. This position works in collaboration with the Director of Admissions to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the admissions and enrollment processes, as well as assist with strategic planning and execution of all recruitment efforts of Lindenwood’s online segment. The assistant director of adult and online enrollment leads by example by recruiting and enrolling students.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years’ related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
  • Knowledgeable in areas of recruitment, enrollment management, admissions, financial aid, and academic advising
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to multitask with minimal supervision
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, faculty, and staff
  • Ability to collaborate with, advise, and assist the director of admissions in all aspects of the recruitment and admissions processes
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manages all areas related to student recruitment for assigned programs and university partner institution(s)
  • Spends at least fifty percent (50%) of every shift making or receiving telephone calls and/or other communication channels to interact with a high volume of potential students to discover the educational interests of prospective students; searches applicable database(s) providing information to help prospective students make an informed decision on program offerings and university fit.
  • Complies with all federal, state, and institutional policies and procedures, inclusive of accreditation standards
  • Assists with strategic planning and development for Enrollment Management
  • Supervises admissions and recruitment staff directly, providing leadership and coaching in executing the University’s vision and mission
  • Assists in managing the day-to-day admissions operations pertaining to online operations
  • Reports and analyzes enrollment and retention data in collaboration with the director
  • Manages lead performance, ensuring potential students are effectively contacted
  • Facilitates website updates and initiatives relative to department needs and changes
  • Maintains confidentiality of all school and student matters; assists the director of admissions with student inquiries and/or complaints
  • Maintains a healthily competitive team environment that aligns with the mission of the university
  • Develops organizational strategies to promote the University and assist with retention across all academic formats
  • Reviews applicants’ academic credentials, admits students, and provides provisional admission guidance
  • Promotes the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards for Enrollment Management, including budget proposals; monitors/authorizes expenditures
  • Organizes and leads departmental meetings for faculty and staff
  • Supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence
  • Models, supports, and holds others accountable to the University’s values – integrity, dedication, excellence, creativity, and teamwork
  • Sets clear expectations for admissions personnel in regard to goal attainment, department standards, travel assignments, and the University’s mission
  • Develops employees’ skill sets and provides ideal professional growth opportunities
  • Manages human resources reporting and personnel matters for assigned staff, including but not limited to time cards, overtime approval, and absence requests
  • Assists with interview, hiring, and training processes; conducts annual employee evaluations based on evidence, observation, and feedback
  • Job may require other duties as assigned.
