Responsibilities

  • Oversee one or more teams within the Admissions Processing department.
  • Enhance the applicant experience by providing a central point of contact for application assistance.
  • Utilize performance management to maximize staff performance and department morale.
  • Provide leadership and vision to the Admissions Evaluations Team for graduate and undergraduate applicants.
  • Create, administer, and evaluate processes and workflows related to admissions evaluation.
  • Manage daily admissions workflow including Salesforce case management and application evaluations.
  • Create and conduct training programs for staff on new and existing processes.
  • Serve as a member of the UAP Leadership Team and coordinate with peers on operational processes.
  • Manage the implementation of new processes in coordination with key stakeholders.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate up to 8 full-time members on the Admissions Evaluation team.
  • Direct the work of the Admissions team to ensure efficient service standards are met for new applicants.
  • Build and foster a team culture that encourages collaboration and professional development.
  • Serve as a liaison to faculty, staff, and other departments to improve communication.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify student and process needs.
  • Provide continual education around recruitment and process functions to stakeholders.
  • Advise staff on decisions for elevated admissions review.
  • Represent Admissions Processing with departments across campus and develop productive partnerships.
  • Train on new updates to processes and troubleshoot technical issues related to tools and systems.
  • Assist with resolving elevated student issues and communicate admissions procedures to partners.
