About The Position

The Assistant Director of Loans & Federal Programs will assist the Director of Financial Aid in processing and awarding financial aid for students. This role emphasizes providing exemplary customer service, particularly in relation to Federal Loans, Private Loans, and Grant Programs.

Requirements

• Experience in financial aid or multiple years in a college/university.
• Skilled working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong commitment to excellence through demonstrated accuracy, knowledge and skill.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using Ellucian Banner Financial Aid module.
• Experience with ELM or other Private loan processing system.
• Two or more years of experience working in a postsecondary environment preferably in financial aid.
• NASFAA certification in various financial aid modules.
