Works directly with the Director of Group Sales to lead the sales efforts of the hotel to ensure that revenue goals are achieved; revenue and sales strategies and action plans are implemented; and that results are monitored and achieved. Serves as Director of Group Sales in his/her absence. ACCOUNTABILITY: This job is second in command in Group Sales efforts in a full-service hotel with a moderate range of facilities and catering and/or convention facilities and drives the sales effort. Aside from the heavy sales activity required in this role, this position will also handle tactical daily/weekly tasks to drive team efficiency and effectiveness.
