About The Position

Requirements

• 1 or more years of experience in healthcare related quantity food production and preparation.
• Servsafe Certification required.
• 90-hour foodservice supervisor course (Preferred).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Supervising experience in Dietary in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Purchase all food, supplies, disposables, chemicals, and small wares within budgetary allotment.
• Follow sanitation and safety principles throughout daily assignments.
• Oversee production staff and meal production, including coffee shop and meals for convent.
• Coordinate food for catered events.
• Provide in-service training to staff as appropriate and at least annually.
• Supervise Food and Nutrition Service Department in absence of Department Director.
• Prepare lunch and dinner meals 2-3 times per week.
• Replace or fill in for production staff in case of staffing shortage or when need arises.
