The Assistant Department Manager supports service, selling, and business operations to achieve an engaging and inspiring store environment. This includes fostering community amongst the team through continued education on brand and store initiatives. The role involves acting as a brand representative to promote a positive and inclusive environment, leading by example in upholding a service culture, and supporting unique customer events. The manager actively participates in leading the salesfloor, driving engagement, and guiding the team to prioritize the customer experience. They also participate in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding, utilizing brand resources for employee development. Daily operating processes such as opening/closing, maintaining store standards, restocking, and handling facilities/IT issues are supported. Collaboration with key partners for shipment and omni fulfillment, visual standards, product stock levels, and markdowns is also part of the role. The position requires contributing to an inclusive work environment, maintaining communication with leadership, adopting a people-first philosophy, and providing insights on customer and staff experience.
