About The Position

The Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Nursing Studies provides strategic and operational leadership for all undergraduate level nursing program options. This role coordinates efforts of the faculty, students, and staff in conjunction with the Dean and Associate Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Professions to achieve school, college, and university goals. Works closely with program directors and the Associate Dean for Accreditation and Evaluation to ensure consistent implementation of the nursing curriculum across the undergraduate nursing program. The position requires a consistent on-campus administrative presence and reports directly to the Associate Dean for Nursing Affairs.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Nursing or related field.
  • BSN or MSN in Nursing required.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) certification (preferred)
  • Experience in more than one undergraduate nursing program (preferable).
