The Assistant Dean of the College will play a key role in the College’s advising community while also directing the College’s structures and processes for collecting, interpreting, and narrating the student experience in the undergraduate curriculum. Reporting to the Associate Dean of the College for Curriculum, the Assistant Dean will contribute meaningfully to the College’s ongoing assessment and compliance work, building a culture and infrastructure that encourages and facilitates the use of strategic data across all of the College’s constitutive units. The Assistant Dean will manage special reporting and assessment projects in collaboration with the Associate Dean and Deputy Dean, preparing assessments and presentations for a variety of audiences and purposes. The Assistant Dean will also support projects related to accreditation and that seek to streamline systems that manage the undergraduate curriculum and associated reporting requirements. The Assistant Dean offers auxiliary advising to student-athletes in close collaboration with the residential college advising staff, which has primary responsibility for the academic progress of all Princeton students.
