About The Position

Requirements

  • A Master's Degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in online education, curriculum development, or higher education administration is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing faculty and staff, with a background in hiring, training, and supervising.
  • Proven experience in managing budgets, projects, and vendor relationships.
  • Experience in curriculum planning, assessment, and quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with data analysis for informed decision-making and program improvement.

  • A Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide all aspects of CICS's online educational operations, including undergraduate, master's, and doctoral courses.
  • Oversee the strategic development and long-range planning of CICS degree programs, including curriculum development and faculty contracting.
  • Plan required course offerings in collaboration with Recruitment and Student Success teams.
  • Manage course offerings and teaching assignments, ensuring alignment with educational goals.
  • Cultivate, recruit, and retain strong adjunct faculty for online teaching in collaboration with the Dean.
  • Provide faculty support, coaching, and training, and review student evaluations of teaching.
  • Assess and identify potential improvements to curriculum using course data and student evaluations.
  • Establish budgets for instruction, course development, and special projects in partnership with the Dean.
  • Lead CICS projects by defining project goals, tracking milestones, and coordinating resources.
  • Identify opportunities for new program development and collaborate with stakeholders for program relevance.
  • Prepare reports using data to describe outcomes and measure effectiveness of initiatives.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate direct reports, including adjunct faculty and student workers.
  • Serve as a representative on various campus committees and undertake special projects as assigned.
