Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a childcare center or early childhood education program
- EEC Certification or equivalent
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning space
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Support children's individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth
- Bring our Balanced Learning curriculum to life with enthusiasm and creativity
- Create strong, supportive partnerships with families
- Communicate openly and collaboratively with teammates
- Bring joy, energy, and positivity to the classroom each day
