Assistant Cross Dock Manager Location: Tolleson, AZ (Avondale, AZ as of 5/26) Schedule: Monday through Friday; 3:00 am start Role Summary: Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Cross Dock Manager for our Tolleson, AZ location! In this role, you will assist leadership in overseeing daily cross dock operations and lead a team of drivers, ensuring safe, timely, and organized delivery execution. This critical leadership role will support the efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance of our distribution network. Requirements

  • Some college or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Experience in freight consolidation or trucking terminal operations.
  • No motor vehicle violations in the last 24 months.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to work in cooperation and effectively communicate with others.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as walking, pushing, pulling, bending, and climbing.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, coordinate, and supervise the daily activities of drivers to ensure productivity, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure safe and timely delivery of invoiced products to established customers.
  • Oversee performance management for the delivery team, including KPI tracking, route adherence, and scheduled driver observations.
  • Schedule, document, and verify completion of fleet maintenance and repairs.
  • Interview, hire, onboard, and coach team members.
  • Communicate with distribution center leadership regarding shipment conditions, delays, or discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service regarding returns, damaged products, and delivery issues.
  • Maintain the facility’s physical condition, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to 5S standards.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Plan, assign, schedule, and review the work of others.
  • Ensure that quality standards are consistently met.
  • Hire, train, develop, and, when needed, terminate staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews and administer corrective actions.
