Summer@Country School offers a safe, self-contained environment perfect for participants to freely explore and enjoy their favorite activities with friends old and new. We offer a range of traditional and new activities that make each summer unique, including art, STEM and athletics, 85 acres of outdoor and woodland adventure, and weekly specials. Through hands-on experiences and a combination of guided and independent experiences, campers are encouraged to try new things, explore, accept challenges, and most of all have fun. We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated assistant counselors who love summer programs and love kids. Each program group will have a lead and an assistant counselor. Assistant counselor responsibilities include working closely with the lead counselor to ensure participant safety, create a fun and inclusive community, and support the lead counselor in planning and running activities. While the assistant and lead counselors are a team, the lead counselor is ultimately responsible for the planning and execution of group activities and program safety. Assistant counselors play an important role in building an enriching summer experience for our participants. This program runs 9 am - 4 pm Monday through Friday from June 15 to August 21. 2026. The projected number of hours per week is 40. Orientation and training are mandatory and will be provided prior to the first day of camp. Get ready for a summer of fun by joining the Summer@Country School team! Check out our website and apply through our employment portal.
