Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
0–2 years of relevant experience (law firm or in-house).
Strong understanding of contract law and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience reviewing or drafting commercial agreements preferred.
Familiarity with LTL shipping, logistics, transportation, or B2B services preferred.
Experience using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams preferred.

Responsibilities

Review, draft, and revise commercial contracts, including customer, vendor, and service agreements.
Identify and communicate legal and business risks, providing practical recommendations.
Maintain and improve contract templates, playbooks, and processes for consistency and efficiency.
Support internal stakeholders on compliance, corporate governance, and policy matters.
Conduct legal research and prepare summaries or memoranda as needed.
Coordinate with outside counsel on specialized matters.
Assist the General Counsel with special projects and legal department organization.
