About The Position

The Assistant Corporate Food & Beverage Manager will play a crucial role in the operation of a new food hall concept at Charles Schwab's headquarters in Westlake, TX. This position involves assisting the Food Hall Manager with the overall management of food and beverage operations, ensuring high standards of quality and service, and collaborating with various stakeholders to create an exciting dining experience for employees and guests.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' Food & Beverage experience
  • Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional Customer Service
  • Training expertise in the hospitality industry
  • Demonstrated budgeting skills for financial management
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant degree or certification in Hospitality Management or related field

Responsibilities

  • Manage all food and beverage operations, ensuring high standards of quality and service
  • Develop concept and market the food hall opportunity to candidate restaurants
  • Identify, interview, and engage selected restaurants and negotiate deal structures
  • On-board restaurant partners
  • Assume contractual responsibility for branding, safety, food borne illness liability and general conditions of food hall
  • Manage hall menu and guest restaurant rotations
  • Train guest restaurants on point-of-sale system, reporting and operating routines
  • Order and stock beverages, cups, and common food hall supplies
  • Expedite mobile order deliveries for guest restaurants; clear pick-up room at end-of-day
  • Monitor temperature logs, exhaust hood cleaning, grease trap service, and equipment maintenance
  • Specify, order, and put replacement small wares and appliances into service
  • Conduct weekly quality assurance audits
  • Monitor and audit kitchen controls and cleanliness standards
  • Keep dining area tables and trash receptacles clear/clean during service
  • Coordinate common equipment and services, including floor mat cleaning and dock management
  • Manage employee requests, complaints, and feedback
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Implement internal controls and procedures to mitigate operational risks
  • Develop and enforce standards for general operations, food safety, alcohol sales/consumption, customer service, etc.
  • Oversee service and maintenance contracts and understand operation of facility equipment and systems
  • Manage an inventory management system for products used in the common areas of the food hall and ensure availability of products
  • Collaborate with the conferencing and events team to plan and execute special events
  • Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting
