The Residential Services Assistant Coordinator is a full-time (40 hours/week) role earning $65,000/year

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field - may substitute five years of relevant experience for education requirement
  • Five years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, customer service, and/or work in the education field
  • Three or more years of supervisory experience
  • CPR/FA training, Level 1 Medication Aide Certification, MANDT, Agency/Funder required training
  • Valid Driver's License and auto Insurance at time of hire

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Arc Core Values of Respect, Collaboration, and Empowerment
  • Provide quality and compliance oversight for the person-centered planning process and documents to ensure funder requirements and Arc standards are maintained
  • Identify and coordinate appropriate living arrangements for individuals through intake, transition, and discharge planning
  • Ensure health objectives for individuals are created and implemented, assist with coordination of medical care, and ensure all related documentation meet DMH requirements
  • Supervise and train house supervisors as well as assist with supervision and training of all Direct Support Staff; provide oversight, guidance, feedback, and on-call support
  • Manage financial resources of assigned sites, oversee payroll activities, develop individualized budgets as required, and request funding as needed
  • Ensure individuals are respected, engaged, and empowered by utilizing agency philosophy to lead others, and by following all corresponding policy and procedures, including the creation of reports and review of documentation
  • Act as a liaison between departmental staff, agency departments, DMH personnel, families, advocates, landlords, medical professionals, and other community stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver schedules, ensuring adequate staffing is utilized and support is provided according to agency and funding standards at each location and across locations
  • On call rotation (occasional periods of being on-call to respond to inquiries or to provide assistance may be required.)
