About The Position

The Assistant Coordinator of Championships and Alliances is responsible for the general coordination of administrative requirements for selected championships and assisting with the administration of other sport committees. This role involves project management, data management, and communication with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and effective support for championship activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to create complex documents in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent data management skills.
  • Extensive experience with SharePoint.
  • Excellent office skills, including typing and word processing.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Familiarity with NCAA operations.

Responsibilities

  • Administer duties for assigned championships and sport committees, including updating manuals and preparing communications.
  • Act as liaison for Short's Travel for committee meetings and championships.
  • Support championship manager for assigned sports, including championship selections.
  • Assist with the preparation of meetings, including agendas and meeting materials.
  • Post documentation and information on the NCAA.org website.
  • Administer departmental duties, including correspondence and file maintenance in SharePoint.
  • Correspond with various stakeholders regarding NCAA topics.
  • Serve as the department's point person for vendor relationships.
