About The Position

Work alongside the Food Service Supervisor to prepare meals and manage the kitchen.

• Single female, no children (based on housing)

Nice To Haves

• One year of Bible college (preferred)
• Catering and/or cooking experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Prepare approximately fifteen meals per week with other kitchen staff.
• Train Bible school students during the school year that will serve as kitchen support staff.
• Make runs to town for food and needs not provided by the food service company.
• Attend weekly chapels every Wednesday morning.
• Attend weekly staff meeting.
• Be willing to host students in your residence for community building activities.
• Committed to a daily walk with Jesus, spending regular time in the study of Scripture and prayer
• Involved in a weekly Community Group
• Participate in regular 1 -on -1s with students
• Participate in on -campus activities
• Be present during occasional meal times
• Participate in a fall Backpack Trip (10 -70 miles)
• Participate on the spring student trip

Benefits

• Status: Full -time temporary; 2 year contract
• Expected Pay Range: $11,000 -$12,000 per year, base salary
• Housing Provided: Estimated Market Value = $900 per month / $10,800 per year
• Utilities Provided: Estimated Market Value = $250 per month / $3,000 per year
• Year Round Meals Provided: Estimated Market Value = $10 per person, per meal X 1 = $3,650 per year
• Additional Provisions: Health Plan (Samaritans Ministries); FICA allowance
• Time Off: 6 weeks off during December, winter break; 1 week off during spring break; 1 week off after graduation; 2 weeks off during summer
