About The Position
The Assistant Superintendent supports the Superintendent in managing daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects. This role helps coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety and quality standards, and ensure work is completed according to plans and schedules.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial construction experience
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of safety regulations and construction best practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Construction software experience preferred (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily site supervision and field operations
- Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and site logistics
- Monitor work progress for schedule, quality, and safety compliance
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements
- Maintain daily reports, logs, and field documentation
- Assist with inspections, punch lists, and project closeout
