About The Position

The Assistant Controller will support the Finance team by managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. This role is critical in driving efficiency, supporting audits, and assisting with strategic financial initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree (Accounting or Finance) and 5 years related experience required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Degree major in accounting, business, finance or related discipline.
• CPA preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and resolving inquiries.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data.
• Assist in implementing new systems or process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff as needed.
