About The Position

What You Will Do: Monitor and manage hotel financial performance by tracking KPIs, coaching teams, and protecting assets. Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivables, revenue reporting, and payroll. Partner with hotel leaders to deliver budget forecasts, labor reviews, and insightful financial analysis. Ensure compliance with internal controls and tax regulations while preparing for audits and month-end close. Jump in for the Area Controller when needed and lead accounting training initiatives to keep skills sharp. What We Are Looking For: 3+ years of hotel accounting experience—because knowing the ropes helps you keep the books balanced and the team on track. Bachelor’s in Accounting or a related field (or equivalent experience)—a solid foundation for financial leadership. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, income audit, and general ledger—critical to ensure daily accuracy and end-of-month success. Tech-savvy with intermediate Excel skills—spreadsheets are your playground. Bonus points for experience with Sage300, ProfitSage, Workday, and POS/PMS systems—they make our operations hum.
