The Assistant Controller position supports our Structural Heart Medical Device division out of our Plymouth, MN location. The business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease. As a member of the SH (Structural Heart) Management team, the Assistant Controller provides leadership in the design, consolidation maintenance, and evaluation of all financial activities for the SH Operations in accordance with established division and corporate policies. This role also provides guidance in setting strategic direction and devising business plans to achieve the long-term goals of the SH Operations. In this position, you will own and oversee financial consolidation (Forecast/Actuals) from various global SH manufacturing sites and divisional cost centers, ensuring timely and accurate communication to SH Operations and Finance leadership. You will prepare executive-level presentations of financial views for LBEs and reporting cycles, oversee the development and management of financial budgets, including Monthly close, forecast (LBE and Plan), for Divisional Operation, Quality, and Supply Chain cost centers. Additionally, you will manage capital spend/allocation (Forecast/Actuals) across SH organizations and interact with Global and Regional Manufacturing Controllers, Directors, and Divisional VP of Operations through presentations of financial plans, analyses, and strategies. You will work in conjunction with site controllers and SH Ops leadership to set appropriate financial guidelines and deliverable timelines to ensure timely submission of financial results and forecasts. This role also facilitates proper reporting, analysis, and monitoring of actual results across manufacturing organizations, and collaborates with manufacturing sites and Operations leadership to develop and implement financial and operational metrics to measure and track productivity and operational excellence. Furthermore, you will facilitate the development and deployment of process improvements, including automation, to enable improved planning and reporting across Global Manufacturing/Quality organizations. Lastly, you will manage and develop a team of analysts/supervisors.
