Under the direction of the Controller, the Assistant Controller position will be an active member of the accounting team and will work closely with the Controller to ensure accounting and internal control compliance across our three campuses. This role will have direct responsibility for managing the cash management and accounts payable areas for Pennsylvania Western University. The Assistant Controller will prepare account reconciliations; review and approve journal entries; evaluate, recommend, and ensure efficient internal processes are in place and being followed. This position requires strong communication, organization, computer skills, and a high degree of analytical ability along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
