About The Position

The purpose of this position is to provide accurate and timely information and guidance regarding all financial aspects of the plant business. This includes information analysis, recommendations, preparation of meaningful reports and plant-wide training on shipping, receiving, production and inventory management processes. Responsibilities include: managing the data collection process and advising plant management of best practices to maintain accurate and timely processing of plant production information utilizing SAP software effectively managing the Manufacturing Operations Clerk and Inventory Control Analyst positions managing the plant weekly and Publix month end closing process collecting all information for location specific materials for financial reporting supporting data collection, data entry, analysis and reporting processes for inventory movements in warehouse management system (WM) participating on any special teams and initiatives within the Plant or Manufacturing that require analytical and costing expertise Additional Information Your application may have additional steps that you will need to complete in order to remain eligible for consideration. Requirements

  • High School diploma with additional high school or college business related classes
  • 2 years of SAP experience, and
  • 2 years of manufacturing plant inventory and accounting experience
  • Knowledge of the processes of the manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of proper general accounting principles
  • Mathematics and statistical data analysis knowledge
  • Knowledge of standard costing methodology
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office software applications including Outlook Microsoft Excel, Access and Word

Nice To Haves

  • 4 year Bachelor's Degree in an Accounting or Finance related field
  • 4 years of SAP experience, and
  • 4 years of manufacturing plant inventory and accounting experience
  • Skilled in the use of specialized Publix systems including SAP, Kronos, SOP, Dallas and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
