Assistant Control Room Operator
About The Position
The Assistant Control Room Operator leads and directs employees, under general supervision, and stands watch and operates the facility and must possess a Massachusetts Third Class Engineers License pursuant chapter 146 of the M.G.L. The Assistant Control Room Operator is responsible for monitoring the status of all plant systems on a continuous basis in the field. This position will respond to alarms as directed by Control Room Operator and taking appropriate corrective actions. They will aid in executing plant shutdown and start-up procedures. They will aid in the plant meeting generating requirements while operating in a safe, environmentally efficient, and productive manner. The ACRO will write permits, and test confined spaces. Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
Requirements
- Requires Massachusetts Third Class Engineers License pursuant chapter 146 of the M.G.L.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
