AECOM is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to be based in Las Vegas, NV. Under moderate supervision, this role assists the Project Management team with management administration on a moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a large size and scope project, following set guidelines for completion of tasks. The employee will receive moderate to limited supervision working from objectives set by the supervisor and will organize and carry out most assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions, or previous training. The role may involve handling some unusual situations independently, interfacing with the design team, working closely with the BIM team and using modeling software, and interacting with Superintendents to address project questions/issues. Responsibilities include assisting with and monitoring change orders, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, reviewing project costs and scheduling to ensure completion within budget and in conformance with contract, working with document control systems, project management systems, and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate, attending meetings, and reporting on project tasks as needed. The position may also provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers and enforce company and project policies.
