About The Position

Arlington Properties is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Community Manager to step into a leadership role within property management. This position is designed to help drive leasing success, support team operations, and build lasting relationships with residents. The Assistant Community Manager will be a key decision-maker, trusted partner, and operations leader, supporting day-to-day property operations while training to lead their own community. Arlington Properties is a respected leader in multifamily housing, committed to delivering exceptional service to residents and fostering growth and leadership opportunities for its employees.

Requirements

  • A confident professional with a high school diploma or GED
  • Experienced in leasing, sales, or property management
  • A strong communicator with proven organizational and leadership abilities
  • Knowledgeable in Fair Housing laws and customer service best practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using property management systems
  • Reliable, flexible, and eager to make an impact
  • Licensed to drive, insured, and ready to work a flexible schedule, including weekends

Nice To Haves

  • college coursework preferred
  • 1+ years strongly preferred in leasing, sales, or property management

Responsibilities

  • Support the Community Manager in leasing, operations, and team supervision
  • Take full responsibility for the community in the manager’s absence
  • Process rent payments, invoices, and resident documentation
  • Assist with resident retention efforts and event planning
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations
  • Monitor property condition and make improvement recommendations
  • Serve as a role model to peers and help maintain high operational standards
