About The Position

As the Assistant Community Manager, you play a vital role in delivering exceptional resident experience and ensuring smooth day-to-day community operations, usually across multiple sites. You serve as a primary point of contact for residents and visitors, facilitating tours scheduled by the Regional Sales Team, responding to resident needs, and assisting with administrative and operational tasks. In this role, while you report directly to the Area Community Manager, you support the local Community Manager(s) in maintaining high standards of service and community engagement, while escalating significant resident or operational issues to leadership as needed.

Requirements

  • Two+ years of related experience or transferable skills, specifically in customer service.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid and active driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for residents and visitors.
  • Respond to resident inquiries, comments, and feedback, providing excellent customer service at every touchpoint.
  • Facilitate walk-in tours and those scheduled by the Regional Sales Team, which may involve driving to other communities, and support an exceptional leasing experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the service team to assist with resident move-in and move-out processes to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Escalate significant resident issues or concerns to the Area Community Manager as appropriate.
  • Conduct inspections of new residents’ homes to ensure a positive move-in experience.
  • Walk property grounds to maintain high curb appeal and collaborate with maintenance team so they may address major issues.
  • Support execution of community events and engagement activities.
  • Assist in ensuring safety standards and company policies are followed on site.
  • Assist in reviewing and maintaining accuracy of resident accounts and records.
  • Support preparation of required community reports.
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative operations of the community, as assigned by the Community Manager.
