About The Position
The Assistant Community Manager at Victoria Park Senior Living plays a crucial role in the residential property management industry, specifically within the Independent Living, Inc. and SHAG partnership. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23 to $26, and is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of residents while enjoying a supportive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, organizational skills, and a compassionate approach to tenant relations. This role is not just about managing properties; it’s about fostering a community where residents feel valued and cared for. In this position, the Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in maintaining the physical asset of the property and ensuring a quality living environment for residents. This includes compliance with local, state, and federal laws, such as Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for completing resident income certifications and re-certifications, managing move-in and move-out paperwork, and collecting delinquent accounts while adhering to legal guidelines. The role also involves coordinating leasing activities, including conducting tours for potential residents, maintaining the waitlist, and preparing vacancy reports. The Assistant Community Manager will work closely with the Community Manager and maintenance staff to address repair requests, conduct regular property inspections, and ensure that all operations align with the company’s goals and standards. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in service delivery. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, building strong relationships with residents and team members alike, and will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by the Community Manager or Regional Manager.
