Responsibilities

  • Supports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing and managing the financial and operational facets of the community.
  • Completes accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly close-out and financial reports.
  • Processes invoices for payment, collects rent, fees, and other payments.
  • Completes bank deposits, dispositions, and account reconciliations.
  • Uses property management software to record, track, and report on all financial workings of the community.
  • Collects and posts rent, fees, and other payments, preparing daily bank deposits and processing invoices and payables.
  • Assists the leasing team in touring apartments with prospects both virtual leasing and in-person tours.
  • Reviews and submits invoices from vendors, contractors, and service providers for payment.
  • Processes resident move-outs by reviewing lease terms and notice requirements.
  • Responds to resident questions, concerns, and requests in a timely manner.
  • Partners with the on-site office team and marketing team to create safe, social distant activities and events for residents.
  • Acts as the on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager.

Requirements

  • Previous property management experience is required, fee management preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Yardi/OneSite software highly desired but not required.
  • Being financially savvy; previous experience in creating/adhering to budgets, fiscal reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
  • High level of professionalism in both manner and dress.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of business discipline are required.
