About The Position

The Assistant, Community Impact colleague will support all facets of the Community Impact team via various outreach events, programs, and initiatives. This is a 12-month, Part-Time position that will require availability to work at all Arizona Cardinals home games, irregular schedules, day and weekend commitments, early morning, late night, and holiday work assignments. A good attitude and a commitment to teamwork is a must.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree conferred by June 2026, or equivalent education, training, and experience
  • At least two (2) years of experience in the sports industry preferred
  • Experience in event operations
  • Previous experience engaging with youth and high school football organizations, particularly coaches, preferred
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with individuals across the organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and sensitivity around professional athletes in their work environment.
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length.
  • This role will require exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; hours may vary depending on business needs.
  • Must complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and executing team community outreach events, including NFL initiatives such as Salute to Service, Crucial Catch, Inspire Change, and others.
  • Support the intake, coordination, and fulfillment of community donation requests and fan mail correspondence.
  • Assist with managing Arizona Cardinals CR Instagram, keeping the accounts constantly updated with community relations events and activities.
  • Manage Community Relations inventory, including appearance jerseys, equipment and promotional items.
  • Assist with the event planning and management of all player appearances, visits and special events.
  • Assist in drafting and preparing various communications, including event summaries and updates, to support community relations initiatives.
  • Contribute ideas for engaging community members and promoting awareness of team initiatives through diverse outreach methods.
  • Track and report on the impact of community outreach initiatives, including social media engagement, participant feedback
  • Manage community relations contact databases.
  • Assist with budget tracking and expense reporting for community relations initiatives.
  • Assist community relations staff members with additional projects as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
