The Assistant Coach for Strength and Conditioning is responsible for maintaining a top quality comprehensive strength and conditioning program for the University of Kansas Athletics Department. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide strength and conditioning training programs for the Men's and Women's Track and Field/Cross Country teams. The position will adhere to the standards established by the Assistant AD – Sports Performance including utilizing recommended weight training, conditioning, flexibility, plyometrics and nutrition principles. The position also communicates with the Assistant AD – Sports Performance, coaching staff, and sports medicine staff regarding aspects of the student-athletes' nutrition, progress of training, and injuries.
