About The Position

Nevada Athletics is recruiting for an Assistant Coach, Women's Soccer. Assistant coaches are primarily responsible for teaching and training of technical information related to the performance of the sport, instruction related to technique of the sport, student-athlete conditioning, and tutoring regarding practice methods and imparting strategies for competing. Assistant coaches assist with recruitment and retention of student-athletes, public relations, program promotion and program administration. Higher level assistant coaches may advise student-athletes regarding athletic, academic and social issues and assist the Head coach in management duties such as guiding junior coaches, budgeting, and logistical coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and two years of related work experience; OR a Master’s Degree and one year of related work experience.
  • Related Experience: team coaching experience (note: some positions may require team coaching experience at an NCAA I, II, III, NAIA, Junior College or high school level)
