About The Position
The Assistant Coach for Women's Volleyball is responsible for supporting the head coach in all aspects of the volleyball program. This includes maintaining discipline, enhancing team morale, and teaching the necessary sports techniques, rules, strategies, and tactics. The assistant coach will supervise practices and contests, ensuring safety during all activities, including locker room and bus supervision. The role also involves recruiting players, scheduling games, coordinating fundraisers, and promoting the intercollegiate volleyball program. The assistant coach must embody the philosophy and objectives of the sport, instilling respect for equipment and college property in each player.
