The position is for an Assistant Coach for the Boys Track team at Broomfield High, starting on February 24, 2025, and ending on May 10, 2025. This is an extra duty position with a part-time FTE of 0.50.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age, or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Complete and submitted BVSD online application
• Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English

Nice To Haves

• Previous coaching experience
• Knowledge of all aspects of senior high school athletic/activity programming
• Proven leadership qualities and successful experience in working with high school students

Responsibilities

• Assisting with coordinating of varsity program and summer/off season programs
• Implementing of expectations and direction of the program
• Preparation of team for competition
• Teaching fundamental and advanced skills
• Attendance at CHSAA and League/Region Coaches' meetings
• Communication with parents, players, school staff, media, etc.
• Following BVSD, school and CHSAA regulations and policies
