About The Position

The Assistant Men's Soccer Coach will support the Head Coach in managing a Division I Men's Soccer Program at the University of Kentucky. This role involves coaching, recruiting, organizing soccer camps, providing academic and personnel support, and handling various administrative tasks as assigned. The position requires adherence to all relevant rules and regulations set by the University, SEC, and NCAA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Five years of Division 1 college coaching experience.
• Solid understanding of player development and talent recognition.
• Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with game video breakdown.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in the administration of the Men's Soccer Program.
• Support coaching activities and player development.
• Participate in recruiting efforts for the soccer program.
• Organize and conduct soccer camps.
• Provide academic and personnel support to student-athletes.
• Perform necessary administrative tasks as assigned by the Head Coach.
