Position Summary: The primary focus of the Assistant Coach (Seasonal) will be the throwing events, shot put, weight throw, hammer throw, javelin, and discus. Also, administrative support (recruiting). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, training athletes on the track & field team, and assisting the head coach in all aspects of pre-season & post-season training, practice, competition, and recruitment. Must be capable of having a flexible practice schedule, monitoring student-athlete academic success, and recruiting strategy for event groups. Also assist the Director of Track & Field in organizing team events, travel logistics, hosting outdoor invitationals, and team fundraising. Adherence to NCAA Division III rules and regulations, supporting the philosophy, goals, and mission of the college and its intercollegiate athletics program, as well as adherence to departmental, university, NACC, and NCAA policies and procedures is required.
