About The Position

Assist the Head Coach with the day-to-day operations of the Benedictine University Men's Volleyball Program.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate/GED Required, Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • 3+ Years working with High Level Club or Collegiate Teams
  • Knowledge of High Level Volleyball Systems
  • CPR/AED/First Aid preferred
  • Ability to handle varying levels of stress while maintaining professional demeanor.
  • Possible lifting, bending, walking, kneeling, stretching, and stooping.
  • Frequent districtwide and statewide travel; frequent prolonged and irregular hours; outdoor exposure to sun/heat or cold weather.
  • Ability to speak clearly so listeners can understand.
  • Understand the speech of another person.
  • See details of objects that are less than a few feet away or are more than a few feet away.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • General Customer service and office environment.
  • The following of campus specific guidelines for pandemic protocols are required.

Responsibilities

  • Follow and enforce all NCAA bylaws, league regulations, and university academic and other policies and procedures.
  • Assist with athlete recruitment.
  • Assist with the running of practices and practice content.
  • Assist with scouting and game preparation.
  • Assist with the oversight and monitoring of academic progress of student-athletes.
  • Assist with scheduling contests, travel arrangements and ordering equipment and supplies.
  • Provide periodic administrative assistance.
  • Create and foster an environment that promotes the overall health and welfare of student-athletes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
