About The Position

Position Summary The Athletics Department at Concordia University Wisconsin, a private NCAA DIII institution in Mequon, Wisconsin, is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Assistant Coach in the Men's Volleyball program. This is a part-time, seasonal position reporting to the program's Head Coach and further to the Director of Athletics. Assistant Coaches at CUWAA fulfill the Athletics Department mission to inspire a Christian culture of academic and athletic excellence by embracing the mission of the University: developing the mind, body and spirit of our student-athletes. Requirements

• Excellent organizational abilities, professional written and oral communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a driver check
• Supportive of mission and core values of the CUWAA Athletics Department
• Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)

Nice To Haves

• Collegiate volleyball playing experience or coaching experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Help practice plan for defensive drills
• Help coordinate team drills
• Attend practice and games
• Help with recruitment of potential student-athletes
• Support and integrate the mission and values of Concordia University within the program
• Other duties as assigned

Benefits

• This is a part-time, seasonal position paid by way of bi-monthly stipend throughout the duration of the sport/program season.
• Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience.
• This position is not eligible for employee benefits.
