About The Position
The Assistant Coach of the Pro Group will deliver high-performance coaching and operational support for Longhorn Aquatics professional swimmers by assisting with training design, competition logistics, and athlete development.
Requirements
- USA Swimming certified coach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or similar.
- Experience coaching professional or Olympic level swimmers.
- Experience coaching in a university or collegiate setting.
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s Degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or similar.
- Experience as a collegiate athlete.
Responsibilities
- Assist pro group coaching staff with workout supervision and development.
- Travel with pro group to assigned training trips and competitions.
- Coach senior or age group level swimmers as assigned.
- Manage pro group competition entries and logistical needs.
