Requirements

• 2 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations preferred.
• Experience in managing inventory turnover and waste reduction strategies.
• SERV Safe certification required.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Email) required.
• Open shift availability required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Closing Manager to provide leadership and direction within the club and drive club performance.
• Overseeing recovery, utility, and Perishable departments (Produce, Meat, Bakery, Deli, Dairy/Freezer) as well as overnight prep.
• Ensuring all areas are clean, stocked, and ready for morning open.
• Assisting in audit compliance efforts and driving collaboration with Business Partners (BPs).
• Overseeing onboarding, certification, and training to ensure food safety and operational excellence.
• Serving as Manager on Duty (MOD) for the club as needed.
• Exhibiting strong business acumen through strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making.
• Modeling leadership competencies and acting as a champion for growth.
• Providing teams with the information, direction, and support needed to succeed.
• Fostering collaboration, providing clear direction, and holding team members accountable.
• Setting clear expectations, following up consistently, and driving execution.
• Teaching, coaching, and leading team development through training and feedback.
• Promoting strategic thinking, ethical decision-making, and inclusion.
• Ensuring daily execution of GOLD Member Standards are met.
• Monitoring engagement levels and resolving Member issues.
• Maintaining Club Standards and ensuring club is at plan or better for all Bottom Quartile core KPIs.
• Meeting or exceeding Labor and Supply Plans for the club.
• Acquiring a deep knowledge of key metrics and reporting for total club and department performance.
