About The Position

This role supports research operations through data processing, technical development, and study coordination. Primary responsibilities include processing imaging-related data, optimizing MATLAB code, and assisting with phantom fabrication, imaging, and analysis. The position also involves maintaining and organizing study documentation in a secure, confidential manner to ensure accessibility for the research team. Additional duties include performing non-invasive ocular imaging and visual function testing using designated equipment and protocols, as well as obtaining informed consent from study participants in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Proficiency in using database software including Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, and Power Point).
Experience performing research duties in a research environment. Experience with following a research protocol in order to carry-out study procedures and collect data.
Ability to work with research team including preparing and responding to data queries.
Proven ability to work with minimal direction and work collaboratively with the research team and investigators.
Comfort with MATLAB coding and secure data-encrypted storage practices
HS graduation and sufficient experience and demonstrated skills to successfully perform the assigned duties and responsibilities.
Bachelor of Science degree in a Human Biology or related science field
Must be able to provide proof of work authorization
