Come join our team! #loveajobthatlovesyouback ASSISTANT CLINICAL MANAGER 4E MEDICAL TELEMETRY 4E is a 32 bed medical telemetry unit that serves an adult population of stable patients with a variety of diagnoses including cellulitis, chest pain, shortness of breath, COVID, low blood pressure, COPD, etc. 4E is a busy unit that is a great place for new grad nurses to build and solidify their skills. Friendly, upbeat staff provide excellent patient care while focusing on teamwork to help the unit run smoothly. No call or rotating shifts. HOURS: POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting with the oversight of daily operations of the assigned Clinical Department. The Assistant Clinical Manager is responsible for the development and coordination of activities that promote clinically effective and efficient patient care. Plans, organizes and directs patient care activities as delegated by the Clinical Manager. Collaborates with the clinical manager in maintaining the operational aspects of the patient units, and participates in and uses independent judgment in the hiring, supervising, training, performance management, and evaluation of staff. Consults and collaborates with other health care team members to provide safe appropriate patient care. Ensures a culture of accountability. Demonstrates the ability to problem solve. Assistant Clinical Managers demonstrate effective problem solving/decision making abilities. They demonstrate the ability to plan and prioritize with excellent time management skills. Performing with initiative and innovation, knowledge of practice requirements for RN and LPN as mandated by the Nurse Practice Act is essential.
