About The Position

The City of St. Pete Beach is seeking an Assistant City Manager to support the City Manager in overseeing the city's operations and services. This role involves managing various public sector functions and ensuring the effective delivery of services to the community, which includes a resident population of approximately 8,900. The Assistant City Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining the city's infrastructure, planning, and recreational services while contributing to the overall management of the city's budget and resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business or public administration or a related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible public sector management experience.
• At least five (5) years in a management or supervisory capacity.
• Master's degree is highly desirable.
• Certified Public Manager (CPM) designation is preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver License is required.
