Requirements

Minimum twelve ECE units required
Additional administration or leadership experience in a licensed childcare center preferred
Must meet California state background check and health requirements
Strong decision making and leadership skills
Experience managing schedules and supporting classroom ratios
Reliable, organized, and detail oriented
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for early childhood education and team development

Responsibilities

Support the Center Director with daily school operations and administrative responsibilities
Assist with staff scheduling and maintaining proper classroom ratios
Help coach, mentor, and support teaching staff to ensure classroom quality
Conduct tours and assist with enrollment and family engagement
Ensure compliance with California childcare licensing requirements
Support staff meetings, trainings, and school events
Help maintain a positive and organized school environment for children, staff, and families
