Requirements

  • Minimum twelve ECE units required
  • Additional administration or leadership experience in a licensed childcare center preferred
  • Must meet California state background check and health requirements
  • Strong decision making and leadership skills
  • Experience managing schedules and supporting classroom ratios
  • Reliable, organized, and detail oriented
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for early childhood education and team development

Responsibilities

  • Support the Center Director with daily school operations and administrative responsibilities
  • Assist with staff scheduling and maintaining proper classroom ratios
  • Help coach, mentor, and support teaching staff to ensure classroom quality
  • Conduct tours and assist with enrollment and family engagement
  • Ensure compliance with California childcare licensing requirements
  • Support staff meetings, trainings, and school events
  • Help maintain a positive and organized school environment for children, staff, and families
