About The Position

Assistant Child Development Teacher, Infants and Toddlers , Lubbock Assists in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, while supporting the Center's philosophy. Supervises children, using positive guidance techniques, under supervision of Lead Teacher. Communicates with parents & co-workers. Performs duties with minimal supervision. Shifts Available are: Full Time: Day This is an onsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location. Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location: Texas: Lubbock Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma -OR- GED Equivalency
  • Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.

Nice To Haves

  • Active: Pediatric CPR & First Aid Certificate
  • 1 or more years of experience working with infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months
  • 1 or more years of teaching experience working in a Texas Licensed Childcare Facility
  • 3 or more years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare facility
  • Experience driving a van and transporting individuals between multiple locations
