About The Position

The Assistant Child Care Director at Towerlight Senior Living is responsible for supporting the Child Care Director in managing the child care center, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing leadership to staff. This role involves office management, marketing support, and maintaining high-quality services for families and children.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or American Red Cross, with specific certifications to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum three years in a leadership role at a licensed child care center.
• Experience in business management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Child Care Director in providing leadership and supervision to staff.
• Establish and maintain an environment conducive to quality services and high customer satisfaction.
• Monitor budget and financial activities, maintaining accurate financial records.
• Oversee maintenance of the center and playground, providing feedback to staff as necessary.
• Support a marketing plan aimed at achieving full occupancy of the child care center.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as required by the specific child care center.
