Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree in civil or mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university and one year of relevant experience, or a master's degree in civil or mechanical engineering.
  • A baccalaureate degree in civil or mechanical engineering technology and two years of relevant experience.
  • A baccalaureate degree and a master's degree in civil or mechanical engineering plus one year of relevant experience.
  • A Bachelor of Architecture or a Master of Architecture from an accredited college or university.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in architecture that is part of a five-year first professional degree program and one year of relevant experience.
  • A baccalaureate degree in architectural technology and one year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, guide, and mentor affordable plan examination personnel.
  • Assign affordable housing work and monitor team and individual examiner workload.
  • Screen incoming jobs for completeness and monitor productivity to ensure compliance with service levels.
  • Administer quality control checks for project reviews and document objections clearly.
  • Facilitate resolution of objections and approval of jobs by meeting with applicants and filing representatives.
  • Assist management in developing and maintaining workload management plans and reports.
  • Collaborate with management to address unit level issues and establish expectations.
  • Perform original plan examinations, special audits, and zoning reviews.
  • Evaluate performance of affordable housing team members.
