The Assistant Chief Operator for the Department of Public Works (DPW) Water Pollution Control is responsible for supervising, planning, directing, and participating in the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of the Public Utilities Division. This role includes oversight of treatment facilities, collection systems, flood control, and pump stations, ensuring compliance with discharge permit limits and regulatory requirements. The Assistant Chief Operator also assists in budgetary and personnel matters and assumes the responsibilities of the Chief Operator in their absence.
