About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of prior relevant supervisory experience
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in high volume restaurant production, highly preferred within a hotel or casino environment

Responsibilities

• Train and support Master Cooks, Cooks, Pantry Workers, and Helpers on responsibilities
• Process requisitions accurately and place in designated areas
• Label and date all products to maintain safekeeping and sanitation standards
• Prepare base sauces, stocks, and soups while ensuring overall food quality
• Address and correct any irregularities to maintain superior standards
• Communicate with management and service staff to resolve guest or employee needs
• Assist Executive Chef with purchasing, receiving, inventory, and vendor lists
• Help prepare kitchen schedules and support staffing needs
• Contribute to setting goals and objectives focused on profit, product, and people
