About The Position
Assistant Cheer Coach LOCATION: Carson High School NOTE: If you are recommended for hire, you will be required to complete the First Aid/AED/CPR course prior to starting this position. If you currently have a valid First Aid/AED/CPR card, please upload a copy of your certificate with your application. A clear understanding of the assignment and its responsibilities, the rules of the sport, knowledge of the Carson City School District Policies and Regulations, as they apply to student activities, including the Code of Ethics; and the ability to develop a self-discipline within participating members that promotes achievement, citizenship and respect. Bi-Lingual preferred. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen test. This is a replacement position.
Requirements
- High School coaches are required to have the following documents: National Federation of High School coaching certificate
- A clear understanding of the assignment and its responsibilities, the rules of the sport, knowledge of the Carson City School District Policies and Regulations, as they apply to student activities, including the Code of Ethics; and the ability to develop a self-discipline within participating members that promotes achievement, citizenship and respect.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen test.
- Complete the First Aid/AED/CPR course prior to starting this position.
